The objectives guiding the activities of the Counseling and Technical Assistance Program are:
> To improve the research skills of teams working in themes related to the interests of CEDES. This assistance is offered at the different stages of the research process: project formulation and presentation, data collection, processing, and analysis, strategies to disseminate the findings.
> To assist governmental institutions to design, implement, and evaluate public policies and programs.
> To advise academic and non-governmental institutions on ways to improve their management and performance.

These activities target national and international academic institutions, national and international organizations, non-governmental organizations, and public and private entities.
