| The Department of Economics was established shortly
after CEDES was founded. The research initially focused on macroeconomic
topics and macroeconomic policies in Argentina and Latin America,
as well as monetary and financial issues. In recent years, together
with the incorporation of new researchers, the department has expanded
to include diverse microeconomic topics. Its current research follows
two major lines of work: Macroeconomics and Finance, and Applied Microeconomics. |
