The Higher Education Department was established in 1992. Its main objective is to conduct basic and applied research concerning the structures of systems and higher education policies in Argentina and Latin America. Other activities include technical support and Counseling for public and private university institutions, the government, and non-profit organizations. The members of the department teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels in the principal universities in the country and participate in the quality assessment programs of higher education.
