The Social Policies Department at CEDES focuses on four main objectives: 1. To study the historic and institutional context in which social policies are designed and implemented in Argentina. 2. To evaluate policies, plans, and social programs toward population in condition of vulnerability. 3. To analyze the living conditions of the population: new poverty, unemployment, violence, and transformations in the family structure. 4. To contribute to the development of new proposals for social intervention.
